Maybe the heat in the spring caused it to flower early. Or i might have just got lucky, i'm not sure but i'm glad i've not had to wait un till September! What var is your pink one? Do you have many different varieties?

My goodness...how did you manage to get a bllom this early in the year.....My pink one doesnt bloom til late september......Dont they smell gorgeous..
