Ceropegia woodii "Rosary Vine"

Wow, I have never seen this before I thought they were just strings of green leaves?

Drc - you've seen the plant but not the blooms?

I remember this from my childhood as a string/chain of speckled green leaves and was told it was a rosary. I thought it was indoors though?

Ahhh - yes, it's common name is "Rosary Vine". The Ceropegias is a wonderful genus - google it under an image search!

I first went to Kew as a child, I wonder if thats were I saw it?

That could make sense.

It has been in constant bloom for months and now hangs two metres. What did you do to yours Lulu?

I left the flat they were in in rather a hurry:( No place for them inside this cottage though. I did love them, they grew so long!

Now that should definitely be in a Sci-Fi film!
