The Rose Arch at its best!

The Rose Arch at its best!

I know I have already put a piccie of Felicite et Perpetue up...............but I think she has come on even more and as it looks as though we might get some heavy rain tonight, she might not look as good again this year!
I look out at the arch from one of the kitchen windows, it makes washing up much less of a chore!

Michaella be aware that it is terribly vigorous. That plant is 4 years old. So choose your site with that in mind! Jx

Your welcome, do you have clay soil as your roses look very healthy?

6 Jul, 2011

Funny you should ask that............. The base soil is clay, but we dug about 17 tons of river valley flood plain soil in just the veg garden alone and then add more and more farmyard manure every year! I don't feed them anything else lol!

The roses are lovely, but the actual arch underneath has rusted and rotted. Not quite sure what to do about it. Jx
