This is less invasive and much taller the usual Monbretia

I think so too. I've got hundreds of the orange ones, they spread like mad - good for putting in shady areas. The red ones spread much more slowly and, as you say Denise, they're much taller (and more striking I think).

Mine are in a pot, buried in a raised bed.. I lost another 2 pots of them with the bad winter! Yours are gorgeous Drc..
