First flower on my Datura wrightii (or weed as Delonix calls it!!).
Huge bloom that is about 20cm long.

That's funny! A weed yes, however, it's a nice weed in your garden. lol! :>)
I see these all around...especially growing along the sides of the freeways (in the driest soil). It's amazing how many millions there are...I'm guessing it was due to all the rain we had this past rainy season.

Could never be a weed over here as our climate means that it needs intervention to get to flowering. Left to its own devices the seeds would germinate too late to produce viable seeds before the frosts. The one exception to this is D.ferox.
