Thanks all but of course especially Shirley! :-)
I've planted now in the bed next to my climbing rose and so far so good. But are we EVER going to see the sun again?!!!

Well done for planting it ... no need to water it in judging by the rain falling right now (7.30pm)! We had a fairly sunny morning so at least I managed to have some time in the garden. : o ))

Plant it out now Sgbabe, no need to pot it up they're tough, hardy plants and if you put it out now it can get its roots nicely established whilst the soil's warm and before everywhere cools down.
It'll die back to nothing over winter and then pop up in early spring - mark where you've planted it and wait for its arrival.
Every plants new growth is soft and attractive to slugs and snails so make sure you place slug pellets around the base surrounding area.
