One of the plants I acquired earlier in the week needed some support. Today, in the same skip, I found some trellis. Painted it black and it's perfect.

Trellis too - it certainly was your lucky day!

Trouble is I'll be taking that route every day now, just in case. Love a bargain though.

It seems so wrong to put good things like this in skips. I do wish people would use sites like Freecycle more?

Yes I agree Drc, I think Freecycle is brilliant.

I put things on there and they are gone so fast!

Re-cycling in whatever shape or form is a good idea as, what is rubbish to one person, is useful to another. Why dump it if someone else can use it?

What a good idea, looks good :)

Thanks Cmsue - strange you should comment on this pic today - the guttering you can see above it has just blown down in the almost gale force winds. Trellis is still there though!

O Dear Ginellie hope it didn't do much damage,The wind down here is bad to:)

No, just plastic so no damage. A pretty little conifer is on it's side though and too wet and windy to get out to it today. My son is driving back from Cornwall tomorrow so I'm hoping it will be better weather for the journey.
