the nicer half of the front enterance. Ornamental sumac is behind. VERY lime colored right now. Witch hazel tree with purple and yellow striped somethings. Statue that looked like our blind Savannah. I will have to blog her story one of these days.

at the GC there was a beautiful cast iron wall hanging 'thing'. I thought it was beautiful but way too large for our place. As I was looking at it our favorite clerk there asked what I would put in it.
Lime sweet potato vine and something really purple - like persian shield. Real water pigs but so striking. I think it sold fast, never saw it planted. and never saw it again. They tend to get one of somethings. IMPACT items Poncho calls them. Sort of things that garden designers would want. But if you need two.. hmmm.
the funniest thing I saw there was a huge ceramic foot planter. must have been 4 feet long, and about 2 feet high. Cannot imagine it here anywhere, but in the right place it would work.
Going to try for some hosta pix this morning. yesterday's attempt turned blurry. Guess the flash and I weren't coordinated. It happens!
