I don't think the weather has suited them this year , I haven't had one Eremurus ( foxtail ) and they are usually beautiful , I feel let down :o(

I think the lack of sunshine hours has meant a lot less flowers on our perennials generally :-((

It was the lack of rain here Louise , we didn't have any from February until this month it's been so dry ,I have noticed some flowers are trying to flower since we have had rain ......

Ah yes, i've just seen where you are, i've another gardening friend in Norfolk and she says the same, Somerset is positively tropical compared to there - rain, sun, heat, rain, sun, heat !!!!!
