Could be the 'Vagabond'...really special this one...

Haha, Sue...I would love it to be the 'Vagabond'...'cos I really like that name! lol!
...but it's just the same flower as in the other two pictures..
I think we have to think 'French'...or Dutch market, going to France...
...now HAVE to find 'Vagabond', lol!!!

They are very similar species...and similar flower markings...just have to trawl through the Clematis...

Or you've even got Richard Pennell, this is so like so many others, but with different names...Is it scented by any chance....!!

Will go and sniff...but it's probably been turned to mush by last night's rain :(((

Not sure about moving it whilst in flower...I tend to get impatient and just move things whenever I feel I have to...have only lost a couple of things but have set a few back a bit!

This looks like my Clematis 'The president' - Vagabound has a white centre.
