A beautiful shot Bloomer. Small Tortoiseshell numbers have been seriously down over the last few years, but I've seen quite a few in the last two weeks. Maybe this will be a better year for them. :-)

Thanks Muddy..it is a pretty one isn't it ? I love the intricate pattern on it's wings..natures lovely design...Stangely enough,I am not seeing many on the Buddlia ,behind the fence..but they seem to love the Alliums..:o)
