Our Cherry Tree - Cerisier Bigarreauvan -

After much discussion in the hot sun...OH and I decided on the Cherry above...settled and looking good, not even 24hrs in the ground yet...Then disappointment...The Mirabelle Plum that I wanted as my freebie, had split roots...not good...So again much discussion...and we decided on a Fig Tree...Will post a pic later...

My word, Sue! You're up and at it early this morning! The cherry tree looks perfect there :)))
Shame about the mirabelle...lovely fruit...but the fig will probably grow more quickly! I've just discovered a fig bush in the garden...which I had thought was something else! lol!!

Thanks everyone...The Cherry worked out to about 30 pounds sterling...and the Fig too, but the Fig was my Freebie...so yep it was a bargain day, makes a change...:))

Brief update on the Cherry...Rain has come at the right time, to bed this and other newly planteds in well...As my OH wil tell you, whenever I plant up, it rains...well I'm pleased it did....:o))

Well, don't plant anything else for TWO weeks, Sue! lol!! Kitkat will not forgive you if she doesn't go home with a suntan! lol!!!

Not planning on doing any Karen...at least I don't think so...just keeping things tidy...and splitting time when it's not good out I work indoors, and vis versa....like all of us I suppose...
