Perhaps I will do a runner (bean) before you write that bill out on the (lily) pad??

4 Aug, 2011

Your 'pad' or mine?!!

4 Aug, 2011

Don't you mean hoppit Sticki. Anyone for a frogs chorus.

4 Aug, 2011

Just a bit of variety Grannyb!

4 Aug, 2011

i had to do a runner Sticky and Granny, my apéros hour got neigh.
this is how google describes that time of the day here:

It's the mellowest moment of a day in France, a delightful interlude between the day's activity and a pleasurable meal: l'heure de l'apéro!!

and in other words - a glass of wine -, then B and i got cooking and now i dont want anybodies pad but mine own.
i'll think about that frogging pad tomoro
over and out girls

4 Aug, 2011

Sounds idyllic!

Wish we had l'heure de l'apero!

4 Aug, 2011

Bet when I'v had a few glasses of wine I could say it.

5 Aug, 2011

i shall learn if i can have such a blissful thing!!
do we need baby tree frogs in our gardens to be able to have l'heure de l'apero???

5 Aug, 2011

bet you can say it before Granny and after you've downed a few of the blissfull things you will see frogbeans everywhere Sticky....
was that the bard btw?

dont know about your way but it is soo hot and sticky! here, we need a good thunder and downpour, 'll save me watering
away, my apéro is awaiting and tahn i feel a bean and goats cheese salad coming on
bon apetit mes filles

5 Aug, 2011

ooooh bean and goats cheese ~ very good ~ dont be eating that little froggy by mistake will you? or he will be a has bean!! we had steak for tea with runner beans and french beans ~ given me by someone i work with who has an allotment ~ it was very good!

its cooler here today ~ you must have the weather we had yesterday, or was it the day before ~ it ended in rain! thankfully! but the garden is still dry.

i dont know if it was the bard, although i live near his old home im sorry to say i dont know many of his words!!

frogbeans everywhere would be fun!! they come in all sorts of colours dont they??

5 Aug, 2011

your 'will be a has bean' was brilliant, grinning material.

thunder rumbling ,lightning flashing, winds flattening my garden, raining all round, no frogbeans anywhere in sight, as we are high up we can see it all happening
but no rain here, beaut rainbow though

6 Aug, 2011

Did you get a photo of the rainbow? Cloudy here, bit of rain, 5 minutes of sun. Don't think it will be so nice tomorrow.

I was amazed to see four great tits on the bird feeder yesterday! Not the same as tree frogs tho!

We have a flying squirrel tho!

6 Aug, 2011

yes tried to but as i have trouble seeing the little screen without me specs on it might not be a very good one or i might even have missed it totally, not downloaded them yet.
will do a blog soon with bits and bobsand rbows and frogs!!
did you manage to catch the flying squirrel though?

6 Aug, 2011

Not yet! I have a picture from when she landed but not in flight!
