Crikey Drc! Yours has done far better than mine! Is this a survivor from last year?

Hi Meanie, this was its 3rd winter but I lost Salvia Mystic Spires last winter which was planted near by at the same time.

I have this Drc, new this year...Do you think it will be ok during the Winter?...Yours is a wonderful specimen....

If this is possible then mine will have to take its chances this winter!
I'll strike a couple of cuttings just in case though........

Motinot - I have this in a bed that were it is well protected in amongst other shrub/perennials, whereas the Salvia Mystic Spires that died was not surrounded by other mature plants and I think was to open to the bad weather.
Meanie I think I will take some cuttings just in case?

I agree, swapping plants, seeds, and growing more from cuttings or divisions seems to be the way to go...
