the dry back border - July 2011

starting to plant up the back border. it is quite dry, being under trees, so needs plenty of watering to help the plants establish.

In the corner is the dogwood we moved. We bought the rose bush (golden beauty). The california fuschi is from many cuttings as is the rosemary.

Lots of foliage but hopefully by next summer, a mass of colour, shape and texture.
