i plant around 40 in my small front garden each year, to flower in Aug / Sept. I love to see and hear the small childrens (and adults ) reaction as they go to school. I would love to be known as "that sunflower house".

I sow them all from the previous years seed, in toilet roll trainers, and simply plant the whole thing up. Never fails.

I should try these, they look great..:)

Russian Giant they are called. I've had them grow higher than next doors garage. Great fun. Sow in March / April, but beware of slugs. They love the young plants.
