Poppy 'Checkers'

Now, the card for this plant clearly states that it is a white poppy with black centre...but my eyes are not fooling me when it looks flourescent pink!! I'm hoping it will 'fade to white' but perhaps the GC has mislabelled it?

I would guess its happened to most people at sometime, i bought from a GC what i thought was papaver white a couple of years ago and you guessed it it came out red, but i made no mistakes this year i bought one with a flower. ;)

Frybo: ting ting ting, another bites the dust! I will give it a chance...if by next summer it doesn't bloom white, it will be walking the plank to the compost bin! I mean, I like pink as my garden theme is white, yellow and pink...but not flourescent!
