yes, know what you mean. Do you have Schizostylis as well Annie...I have planted some new ones this year in my boggy corners of the beds...they are supposed to like boggy soil. I do love them because they flower so late...like November...a real blessing in that dreadful month!

A lot of people don't like crocosmia, but I don't mind them. They're ideal for path edges and/or shady places where nothing much else will grow.
