This is a foxglove I raised from seed from my own plants last year. I have several like it and think it may be a new strain(?)

There are a few "split lip" types on the go; this is a pretty one. Try sending a pic to Thomson & Morgan, they are always on the lookout for new varieties..

Meanie, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be setting viable seed. I'm going to try to take cuttings.
Amblealice, I sent pictures to T&M and they said it was too similar to one called Serendipity. It is similar but mine is a much deeper colour and I think its totally different (I'm not biased but I think mine is nicer!)
Thank you both for your comments

What else?
See who else is growing Digitalis purpurea (Common foxglove).
See who else has plants in genus Digitalis.

I like it when we get a "Freak"! It would be great if it came true to type from the seed that you collect.
