This was a very young plant this time last year. I pruned it correctly and am rewarded by - ONE flower!

I do too - I wish it had more flowers, though!

Another new plant to add to my evergrowing list ! What a bright shade of yellow, and it has a very unique shaped bloom too.

There is one in the village and nobody has pruned it - ever - so it is very woody and HUGE and branches going in all directions, so the shrub itself is rather ugly. It is covered in flowers, though. I decided to follow RHS guidelines on pruning from its babyhood to grow a good-shaped and well-behaved shrub, but I shall have to be patient and wait for lots of flowers. Patience is not one of my virtues. Something to look foward to next year, I hope!
