Ferns

Having a good old clean out in the corner under the Photinia...Valerian urg...so glad to get it out...and a lovely Pink Button Rose scrambler...destined for another nice spot...that leaves this huge Fern to spread out further, and an established Azealea...Plan to continue the Woodland through and then bark, nothing elaborate...
Have taken a small split from the big fern...(well you would wouldn't you)....:o))))

I love ferns, my dad has two massive shuttle cock ferns, that I have my eye on, if he ever moves house.

Can't do any planting...it is as Hot as an oven out there...will have to wait till this evening...

Hi Pix...you're as bad as C....I've been sat here transferring all 2011 images onto my memory stick, and then deleting off my hard drive, boy does it take time....
and I've still got from 2007 to 2010 to do, but not today...it makes more room...get them cleared, sometimes my PC runs so slow...anyway job done so far...
Still very hot, and I've got plants to go in...have to do it today...they've been dug up from another part of the garden...

Hi Crissue, I am sure he would, he's had a bit of a tough time at the mo as he just lost his wife (my mum) only a few weeks ago, hence the fact he might move house as he lives in a big old Victorian house which is far to big for him.

Hi Jenny..I am sorry to hear that...my thoughts and prayers for both of you...Maybe in time if he does move to a smaller house, there may be some memorable plants including the ferns, he may want to take with him..Does he like gardening...or was it Mum's passion...!!

I've had this MS for weeks, and only just plucked up courage to use it...You wouldn't believe how many pics I've cleared just for this year...they mount up without you even realising it...
I went and looked at the Veg Garden earlier, and I weeded out the Spring Onions, and all that weeding I did about 10 days ago, its nearly as bad...I just shut my eyes to it for today...and I squatted down, and nearly couldn't get up...I got scared and OH wasn't in...and I thought oh..sh*t now I've done it...I'll have to sit in the dirt...but I made a few grunts etc and just managed it lol, scurrrry...lol...wont do that again...lol...bally rain you get too much...

Yeah I can laugh now...but at the time the ground was wet, and I was under the Photinia cleaning out the grass from the back, and it was the only way to reach it...lol...it felt like my thighs had joined my calves...
OH has spent all day practically cleaning out the Garage...When we came here everything was done fairly quickly, as I had just came from Hosp, and was out of it lol...and this is the first year that anything has really started getting organised the way we want it...can't believe we've been here three years now....Anyway after spending most of the weekend on it, it looks a different place, (the garage I mean)....How the statue coming, have you done anymore to it!!

No more done to it..too much rain..I'm a bit at the fed up stage..cant see it ever getting done...but I know Rick will help me sometime. Have to recast the head again..and dont even ask! grr lol :) x

My Mum and Dad were not big gardeners, just dabbled really. The ferns were already in the garden when we all moved there.
