This clematis is a double earlier in the year, but now produced a lovely single bloom. New to me this year.

It's beautiful :) I think all the double produce singles later in the year. My Josephine usually does the same but she hasn't flowered for the first time yet!
A few new shoots coming through this last week, so I am thinking I will probably have double and singles at the same time.

Oh thats a shame. Well this is a new plant and I didnt expect it to flower this year, so I am pleased with that.
