Thanks Julia I'll take you up on that.What do you do to keep Japanese beetles from devouring your roses?Mine are a mess.I hate to use chemicals and really don't like picking them off.We used to have ducks and chickens,that took care of the bugs.Don't have them anymore,so the bugs are eating their way thru my gardens....any advice? Would love to hear solutions to the Japanese beetle problem as they are horrendous here. Getting worse every year.

Glad I now know your name..so will refer to you as Sandy from now,if that's ok..Sbc sounded very formal.:o).I should have no problem remembering that....I'm a Sandra ( Bloomer ) !! Lol.I love your garden design..and are those Rocking chairs I see ?..Very relaxing..Good job I haven't got one,I would never be awake !! Lol.

I do the landscaping and flowers,all the weeding ,planting and clean up.Hubby and SIL mow.I enjoy all aspects of gardening,although sometimes I feel like I've created a monster.I forget about it by next spring and start creating new flower beds....LOL I've already made plans for a new rose bed.I would really like a few more pine trees also.....The nursery puts the trees and shrubs in for me.I'm surely not fit enough to do that heavy work.Although, I could afford to lose few pounds.......
