Not to everyone's taste but probably my favourite of the old roses. Reaches three feet tall but may be prone to mildew in dry conditions. Looks to be doing very well this year after last year's rain

Just popped in to have a look at this rose Andrew after Gardeners world featured it, i love it and am trying to find somewhere to put it!!! Wonder if it would go ok in a large pot?

Must be worth trying if you've run out of garden space :-)
Roses are heavy feeders so give it a good dose of something organic at the start of each growing season and see how it gets on

I love this one too - wish I had space to create an 'old rose garden'. I love the scent most of all.
