Ligularia 'Britt-marie-crawford

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought this was a Rudbeckia! Very nice Simbad. :-)

I have admired this Ligularia for a long time...perhaps next season....lovely...:>)

Grew mine from your seed Kathy, really like them, do you remember me saying that the young plants hadnt established as well as I had expected, well this year they've done well. Some have maroon leaves and the others green, all they all Britt Marie Crawford.

They are lovely Motinot but don't buy any these seed around like mad, so should have lots of spare seedlings next spring, I'll put myself a reminder to send you some, or could send you some seed if you like in a few weeks?
Aaaa do have another green leaved variety Dawn so you could well have both quite near together so I could have collected seed from both, not sure which the green is though it was from my dads garden, could be Othello or Desdemona which look similar, they always seem to do better in year, bet they look great by your huge pond/lake :-)

Just two flowered for the first time this year Kathy but in the beds, not near the pond but then again the pond edge is clay so harder for them to establish I guess. I'll have a look tomorrow to see how many green ones I have compared to maroon. Love them.
