Beautiful! I am so glad that the hydrangea is making a comeback in 'garden fashion' again. They grow very well in NZ & I have four at the front of this old villa, beneath the window of our guest bedroom. They flowered profusely just after we moved in, & turned the most amazing crimson colour I have seen on a hydrangea. A couple of ladies visiting the church down the road, knocked on the front door to ask if they could have some to put in the church, & after I supplied them with a pair of scissors, they went happily on their way with their armsful of them. I took photos of some after I cut them to dry for the winter, so will have to see if I still have those pics & if so, will put one up. This blue hydrangea is glorious. My husband is positive that ours started off blue, before turning into that glorious shade of crimson.
