I think I asked you this before Paul, but was it the cold weather that killed them?

I like it too...Can't remember the one i bought, it's very similar to yours, I'll look the label out and tell you...sure does make a nice show...

I have checked with Karen who says Heleniums are Ok in the winter here in Scotland. Thanks Crissue. I also have H. Sahin's Early Flower. It is really lovely too.

Hi Linda...found the label, it's Helenium Waldtraut really nice I like it, and I split it this morning...and potted them up till next Spring...

I think Waldtraut has a larger brown disc-floret. They are all really beautiful. :o)))) I am hoping H. autumnale will increase next year.
