Lychnis "orange gnome'

A new perennial for the new bed this year, bright and noticeable. These were imported this year, so I expect that next years blooms will come more along with other summer bloomers. Removing spent blooms kept them going until we had an early cold flash and they seems to have given up since then.

I thought the darker foliage just made them look orange, until I read the tag, a few weeks later I might add. I'm glad to have it and hope it comes back huge next year.

Brilliant, isn't it? The dark foliage makes it even more so. :-)

I like this one, the blooms really stand out well against the foliage....

I'm hoping to see strong returns with it, there are many trusted lychnis for the area as far as living through winter. I hope this new variety is just as tough.
