How do you keep these leaves disease free please ?
My"Handel" rose gets black spot big time ! :o(

During the spring and summer months I must confess to using a systemic spray on my roses every four weeks. They give me so much pleasure, I feel they deserve this care.
I prefer to garden organically but where the pressures of life and my skills don't produce reasonable results I do resort to a bit of closely checked additional help.

Thanks for answering my question.
Do you mean the usual rose sprays sold in garden centres ?
22 Nov, 2009
I rarely shop in garden centres, they make my purse anorexic. I find I can buy what I need seasonally, such as systemic rose sprays, in Wilkinsons, the larger supermarkets or DIY stores, without giving way too much to my gardening shopaholic tendancies.

Yes, so easy to spend in garden centres !
Unfortunately no Wilkinsons near me, but sometimes end of season bargains in B & Q !
