I know its only half a flower but i was just so amazed its flowered at all. ;-)

How long were you waiting for action? I had more or less given up on mine, and then wham bang, there it was!
Good news too - the leaves are attractive too, like a miniature palm almost.

Oh yeah Meanie yours looks wonderful, i had a worrying moment with mine, i had put it in a smaller pot for around 5/6 weeks with no signs or so i thought but upon closer inspection i discovered two thick white roots growing out the bottom of the pot, so i very carefully repotted it......that was about 9/10 days upto now, i have 2 bulbs the other one has been potted about 2 weeks now in the greenhouse which has been a steady 20 degrees this last month. 'jst perfect' ;)
