This little fella and his family live under my neighbours decking, but like to dine out in my garden. I don't mind and they are very amusing.

So cute and perfectly sleek and well groomed. They live in my compost heap and make tunnels just under the latest lot of bannanas skins, peelings, discarded tissues and other household leavings. As it gets a dose of diluted urine nearly everyday.....I can't work out how they manage to look so neat and nifty and dapper....when they tunnel in goo! No need to worry about our compost being aerated!!

Dorjac, it must be down to the diluted urine - you should market it - 'because we're worth it!' . . lol

How adorable! So many people hate rodents and mice alike but I don't mind them! I Have two Chinese Hamsters which are very mice-like!
I Feed em any damaged or partly eaten carrots from my garden sometime.

He's so cute, my field mice (assumed mum and babies) have vanished..loads of cats round here:-(

That's a shame Bornagain. The appearance of a cat in my garden is fortunately a rare occurrence.

A lovely picture and I love the wild rodents. They are part of the food chain for the owls as well. Pretty little thing though and glad of the food that you put out for him too.

WHen we lived down the road the old stone wall was near the kitchen window and we saw bank voles, harvest mice and woodmice visit the birdtable. They lived in the old walls and it was lovely to see them as they went about their daily tasks.

Exactly! Very polite mouse!

Into my rabbit´s cage moved also one. They are sharing couple. When I am cleaning the cage, the mouse is alway screaming and running hysterically here and there and my rabbit is protecting her, lol.

Recently when we cleaned out some draws in the garden shed, there was a mouse's nest in the bottom drawer. Most of it was shredded bubble wrap and fluffy stuff. Clever mouse, not only indoors, but insulation as well!
12 Mar, 2012
I bet he lay in there popping the bubbles Dorjac . . lol! :-))
