Some flowers at last!

This is the area on one side of the driveway right next to the letterbox. I love it, simply because really it is the only area with flowers!! I actually like this plant, though cannot remember what it is called ... this one has the variegated leaf & although it is often used as groundcover, in this area it is scrambling up the fence to the letterbox & out the other way towards the agapanthus ... yes, yet another agapanthus! It's a jolly good thing I like them ... they grow like weeks in NZ, but do give a lovely colour to the garden when out, & last quite a long time too.

Thanks Annella & Lincslass. Do either of you recognise the yellow-flowering shrub in one of my other photos? I like to know the names of things I have in the garden ... at the moment I am writing down or keeping the labels of everything I am planting in.

Weed or not, looks good for ground cover.

I can't help you with names Dwyllis - but you would get a better chance with posting pictures on the 'question forum' with pictures of the whole plant and close up of the flowers and foliage. I'm sure you will not fail in identifying your plants :)

Yes this is 'Vinca major variegata' Dwyllis. It can be invasive so do not be soft hearted when dealing with it.
