The lovely flowers of this syringa caught up close. Each day I took a moment to bury my face in a bloom.

Thank you. What a great response! I'm so pleased to have a lilac around once again. So wonderful. Smell isn't everything to me for a flower, but I will enjoy it to the fullest if there is one. One of the delights of the garden. We had constant passing thunderheads, so the sky was often dark and broiling this year, I will say this shot had some planning behind it..... ;-)

Wish I had a secret. Comes with collecting all summer and then picking out the good ones. I just got a new Sony NEC-C3. Now its a new world.
