Ohhh I wish, I wish, I wish I could grow figs! they look very healthy...how long til you can pick these?

These are my mother-in-laws...but I'd say that they have at least another month before they're ready. Do you love to eat figs? My little old grandma loves herself some figs. She can't get enough of them :) I'm sorry you can't grow them where you are :( Can you buy them in the store? I don't see them in the store fresh, only dried.

yes I can buy them but somehow the store bought don't quite come upto fresh off the tree!! But at least once a year I treat myself to figs and medjool dates...mmmmm... natural candy!

I know what mean Lori. I haven't enjoyed a store bought tomato since we started growing them ourselves. There's no flavor in the store bought fruit. It's produced to look good, that's about it.
