Delphiniums

Love Delphis...one of my most favourite Perennial....

They are incredibly beautiful, aren't they. Make a beautiful show in the garden & come in such a great variety of colours. And of course they re-appear the following year .... well they are supposed to. Mine never have, but I suspect that is due to snails getting at them when they first pop up ... I shall have to be more vigilant with the next lot I put in.

Yes I agree...I have not long moved mine, and one 'Summer Skies,' has just flowered again, which is a nice surprise...
I try to add at least one more each year, I added 'Black Knight' this year, and tho I still have it, it didn't produce anything significant...so may have to buy it again next Spring...see how it fares through Winter...

Delphiniums are like roses .... there are just so many beautiful ones to choose from! Fortunately they are two plants which look lovely together, which means I will be able to give in to my weakness for them & totally indulge myself.

Yes.... why not indeed. My wish list has now grown from half a page to around ten pages!!!!! It's going to take a long time to work through it, but have already crossed several off the list. I like having a wish list to work through ... I'm definitely a list person.

:)))) Me too I was shocked when I saw how my wish list has grown, some managing to grow from seed, and I've aquired part of my list already, so it doesn't look so horrendous; as before...it will grow again soon enough...tho...;)))
