I do love these Sorbus 'Pink Pagoda' trees...they are such great value from spring to late autumn.

Hmmm..wonder if it is badly drained San? I would feed it in the spring and see how it goes...that's a bit of a disappointment isn't it San...that tree looked so good when you planted it. :( Mind you, I have three - all Pink Pagoda and one is about three times the size of the other two and the smallest one is really pathetic. Funny eh?

i planted it where it doesnt get water logged but heavy clay here so who knows, will get some tree feed and try, then hope, thanx karen :o)

I had to take out my Malus 'Royalty' earlier San....it was in heavy clay area and it just couldn't get it's roots down. Bonemeal is good for the roots isn't it....if you have any, sprinkle some of that around it and fork it in...it might help. San, I did a little bit of painting today!

Not great, but I've resigned myself to just finishing this one somehow....just keep putting a few strokes on and see what happens! I did manage to scrape off all the thick bits I wasn't happy with using a stanley knife and once I'd done it I felt a bit better about it, so I did a bit more work on it.

'Pink Pagoda' is one on my list for after the move, that and
Malus 'Royalty'. I will be doing soil tests on prospective gardens in the hope of getting something better than I have at the moment (shouldn't be difficult!)

I love, what I presume is your greenhouse? Did you make the design?
