Just beginning to get it's Autumn colours...hence the name Tri-Colour...there will be gorgeous Red Green & Goldy Yellow foliage...

I grew this in a big Pot for some years...then decided to plant it in the Evergreen bed, glad I did...

Yep lovely shrub Paul, i love the different stages it goes through, bit like the Heavenly bamboo, it does the same; makes all year round interest...

Hi J....It is a favourite of mine too...Have had it about 9 years...Did grow it in a large planter until a couple of years ago, then planted it the Garden, has done well...:))

Thanks DD...and it's no trouble, I very rarely take any bits off...This is the next bed to fork over mulch and lay bark down...all work at the moment...:)))

All credit to you DD ....and all the Goyers that open to the Public...Such a lot of work for you all...

When I lived on the Isle of Wight, I used to take part in Competition Gardening...and In 98 won Southern Counties Gardening Comp...The Judge was Pippa Bensley
At the time she asked me to open to the Public, but we had just decided to put the property on the market, so I never did...Glad I didn't in a way...but went down another road of being asked by so many people to do their gardens, hence our little business started...funny old world....So I do know what work you all put into these openings that you all do...:)))
