photinia now recovered from severe cut back in spring.

It must be about 10years at least.Very tough'nothing seems to bother it.If you seen it after my hubby gave it a trim you would have thought it was dead.Not a leaf on it.Thank you for your comments.

Ha ha, yes my hubby used to be like that with the secateurs, after me disappearing to make a quick cuppa he would totally decimate my trees and his catch phrase was....'well it looks a hell of alot better for it!"

It has obviously done it good. You have some lovely colour showing on the new growth. This is a beautiful shrub. It looks very mature, how old?- if not a rude question
