It does Sheila, but you'd never put the two colours together intentionally would you....sometimes I think all colours work in gardens...well, except pink and yellow!

You're right, thinking about those two colours, they should clash, but instead they go together great.

yes, I think it's the hint of pink in the rose that makes it work ok.

Isn't nature wonderful? In the wild, colours would just grow together, no-one would arrange them would they? lol

My FIL, now passed away, used to love a 'riot' of colours. He was a gardener all his life, in the Parks Dept. latterly. He had no time for 'colour themes' at all!
