This is the new lily added this year to stand in the front bed as a center between the lilac and the cinquefoil. I'm hoping it comes back with a vengeance. It will be a tough job to fill the gap after the rudbeckia finish this year, they have been stunning there.

Thank you. It was striking seeing it on a shelf so I had to get it. I haven't seen a nothing like it around up here. I'm very excited.

Thank you Aleyna. I've gotten a good collection this year.
What a joy to have our community to share these things with friends? :-D

GT you are absolutelly right in your comment.
This community is very inspiring.
Thanks to this community I have grown my interest in flowers and gardens, also to the botanical garden and now I was voted President of the Porto Alegre Botanical Garden Friends Association.
A handfull position but also more than pleasent.
In celebration of our association we have planted two trees pertaining to endangerous species.
These trees were maintained for more than 5 years in a greenhouse to adapt to the soil of the arboretum.
I'll post a picture hopefully soon.

That sounds wonderful Aleyna, and congratulations. It does sound like a handful knowing you are a busy person even before, but so fulfilling I'm sure. And what a lovely way to celebrate your group. I can't wait to see thosepics. :-)

Thank you. I can't wait for them to bloom next year, and hope they are bigger and taller, like the blackouts I planted last year turned out.
