In the Wild: Lupinus arcticus

In the Wild: Lupinus arcticus

Loving this position by the water, these are the most vivid colored and strong of most of them I passed. I could not believe the amount of bloom in and out of the sun that I could find in the mountains during this walk.

Thank you. Had to give respect to this beautiful lupine, all this happened on its on. I will plan a summer visit to Denali Park every year due to sights like this.

The phone is just 5pixel digital, but it gets colors with its auto-settings sometimes that are just astounding. Getting it in perfect focus, another thing altogether, happening automatically like this now and then.

mine is 5 pixel but im not sure it would do as well as yours.
i just take the camera everywhere!!!
i will look forward to your next visit to the park

I love it there, and discovered a new highway through the mountain last week so now I've got even more places to visit!.. :-)

And more photos for us to see? Hopefully?

Yes , more photos of course. That area was already past autumn and just waiting for snow, but the mountain pass was still beautiful.

Here in Central Europe September is unusually hot and dry. Yesterday I noticed flowers on lilac tree. Unusual.

That is. It is thinking spring is here again or something. Or just waited till now for some reason. -5C here at the house last night and the white stuff forecast within 5 days. I woudn't mind a good hot September. :-)

Thank you Lincs. Thank you Rbtkew. I just feel lucky to have thought to get low with it to catch that lake. :-) It was one of the most vivid blues I've seen on our lupin, this our only wild variety up here so differences are rare.

More like a wild smell, fresh and wet. This species bursts up and goes to seed in about two months. Not much energy left for anything but the basics, I think. :-)
