Took this photo in a part of our garden which is undeveloped at this time ..... that actually applies to 99% of this garden. I'm just very appreciative of anything that flowers!

This particular arum lily grows all over the place in the North Island of NZ & probably in many parts of the colder South Island too. It sprouts up in fields & along the verge of highways .... just everywhere. it obviously enjoys our climate. I have another group along the highway, which gets more sun that these two, & it is thriving too. And a friend has a big bunch of them growing in quite dark shade beneath a big dense tree, & hers are thriving too, so it seems to be quite an adaptable plant .... well over this part of the world at least. I'm sure yours will do just as well with your ferns & will look lovely. I have just planted a much smaller variety of the calla lily in a lovely deep shade of burgundy/pink & my clever OH informed me two days ago that he had just spotted it sprouting up through the soil, so that is exciting.

I love these and have been trying to get them going here for years, I found two in with my ferns in my shady area only this summer but no flowers yet, just goes to show how patient one has to be, hopefully I`ll have flowers like yours one day...
