That's so pretty.

That does look nice, but it brings back some really bad memories - snow is lovely if you don't have to travel anywhere!

I have no choice Frybo.....I have to travel on foot.

Am praying for a mild winter!!

So am I Frybo.........I work outside, last year was a tough one.

i have to leave for work at 5 ~ before the snow ploughs ~ if they come out at all!!!

I walked in Freezing fog Last year. It was the most beautiful thing Ma nature has shown me so far weather wise.

It's 9 miles away and I only do a 5 hour shift!

9 miles in a car no problem - 9 miles walking thru snow for 6am start - not ideal!

I think someone needs to invent some heated snowboots which melt the snow/ice as you walk along, without burning the wearer's legs and feet.

Sorry, I think this unseasonal hot weather has made me go a bit mad.

Not all of them Sticki...I did 9 miles a day for 6 days a week in that last year..On foot as I am a Postie !

thats not very fair ~ our postmen get given them.

We got them taken off us due to Health n safety...They are not good on Ice.

Today we were told no part of our hand must go through the letterbox.....As we could be charged with TRESPASS !
Don't know what I am going to poke the mail through with now?

so its ok for us to have wet post cos it has got rained or snowed on sticking out of the letter box
im sure our postman said they were issued due to health and safety ~ he said they were great.

do you find these regulations ridiculous?? i have to say red tape and big organisations drive me mad ~ i have worked for two different lots of them.

It's Ok Sticki..There is really no law of trespass that covers this. Every year our Management run a "who can come up with the most ridiculous idea" competition. This is just the latest. On top of " Commit to Deliver" That means working overtime without pay, as they they will not "commit to overtime payments" ....Or the 4 miles an hour average walking speed.

that competition is a very good idea!!
bet we could come up with some things on here!!!
