Some of these plants need a trimming. The 50ft/16m tall Jacaranda tree needs a major trimming.

Never heard about trimming a Jacarandá, unless it is geting into the electric lines.

The city of San Diego comes out every year and trims the branches out of the power lines. This tree grows into the wires every year.
