Large Sciadopitys verticillata, beautiful tree!

I wanted a larger one too but didn't have a good space for it. I have a dwarf form that only gets a few feet tall but there are narrow columnar forms too. The needles feel like rubber, it's really a neat tree.

Can't say X-mas yet? haha. I wonder if they would do well as a X-mas tree? Their soft needles are real pretty and it's certainly an unusual looking conifer. Even the bark on this was pretty.

it is beautiful, if i had space i would love to look out on specimen trees like this.
