I did too, some areas were still very green and other areas were at peak color. It was strange driving through all the temperature changes in the mountains.

must be incredibly different, it would take me 5 hours to drive to scotland or 4 to the lake district to get such different scenery. and only [probably] a few degrees different.

All I have to do is drive to the Northern part of Michigan and the scenery is much different. The views change pretty quickly in Michigan because we're surrounded by the Great Lakes, it makes a huge difference in climate and plant life.

I had forgotten my geography, of course you are near the great lakes ~ how beautiful.
