this is taken today 13/10/11 still going strong. would love to keep it over winter if possable.

think your right, Stickitoffee. you like fuschia too I see. Going into garage over winter or conservatory, might split them and see which fair best
advice ive been given is to pot down and prume in spring when first shoots appear.

sounds similar, i think lots of people do different things, yes i really like fuchsias ~ bikerbob on here has loads of them.

That also looks like Swingtime to me Geordielad...... Lovely photo. I've got Annabel in my front garden, it survives the winters even the 2 atrotious ones of the last 2 years. I think its been in the border for about the last 7 years with no trouble. I f you plant any in the ground, just make sure you plant them really deep (its best if you partially bury the bottom part of the plant aswell), the deeper, the better!

it does look good; is the other one swingtime??
do you have a greenhouse to keep them in over winter? i am going to keep mine in the garage or the spare bedroom. i gather you should cut them back when you take them in for the winter.
