Aster novae-angliae 'Andenken an Alma Potschke'

Ooh, that's a pretty aster. bright & cheerful. nice to have a lovely bright splash of colour in the garden. I will have to look out for that one, along with the more common rich lilac one.

Great autumn plant and so bright and cheerful. The only problem is their size (for some of us).

Alma isn't too large a lady though, Vincent. Some of them are, like 'Herbstschnee'. That's HUGE! ;-/
