had a walk around windsor park this morning and found the pond like this..

That's a shame Paul, can't you put more oxygenators in the water or marginals along the side that should take out the nitrates?

I have some water soilders and some other nice ones - can't remember name - don't rate barley straw that much myself though

No i never use it, i just pack it full of water plants and marginals & it works for me..
