i see various bits of fungus when i go out for walks and [sadly] some in my lawn but i never pick them ~ i wouldnt have a clue which is good to eat and which would kill you!!

When i was younger i used to photo them and catalogue them but i've forgotten most of it now so i'm the same :-))

i saw a huge fungus growing in suffolk recently, on an old rotten tree!! must have been over 2 foot wide.

blimey, pity you didn't have a camera with you that would have been a good photo :-)
